The Holidays are here which means food food food food food food food and more food. For anybody on a diet(I personal despise this word btw) it can wreak havoc. Sure it may be a little bit, OK a lot harder to stick to nutritious foods this time of the year. Let me offer a few words of advice.
First things first, remember the 80/20 rule, eat healthy 80 percent of the time and you’ll have success. So with that being said, enjoy the holiday meals, just use a few simple little tricks.
Put a limit on your sweets. Try 1 not all.
Enjoy the turkey, ham, and fruits and veggies
Don’t over dip and don’t over sauce.
If you want to enjoy the holiday foods, don’t drink your calories.
Remember good nutrition aka diet, is not rocket science.
Fruits, veggies, lean proteins, low fat dairy, and water 80 percent of the time and you will have success!
