Suspension (TRX) training is the current fitness craze, right up there with crossfit and p90x. It is basically body weight training on steroids, a take anywhere (almost) piece of equipment that can be used to obliterate any body part. But as a personal trainer working exclusively with the 40+ population, I was pleasantly surprised, that it is also great for beginners.
Suspension training has become a staple with all of my personal training clients, not only as a strength training tool, but also to improve balance and flexibility. Suspension training has also worked wonders, helping to rehabilitate numerous lower back issues.
